HOW ROBOTS ARE EMPOWERING CVS’ SUPPLY CHAIN

CVS Pharmacy is modernising its supply chain through automation at its Hainesport, New Jersey distribution centre. Using an automated storage and retrieval system, hundreds of robots work alongside employees to move thousands of products daily.

Robots retrieve totes stacked in dense grid formations and deliver them to CVS colleagues at workstations, where items are sorted and routed to specific stores. Automated systems label, stack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring consistency from pick to pallet.
