3M has appointed Torsten Pilz to succeed Peter Gibbons as Group President of Enterprise Supply Chain.

Having served in leadership positions at Honeywell, SpaceX and Amazon, Torsten will tackle 3M’ s supply chain challenges, including improving on-time in-full delivery rates.

CEO Bill Brown has stressed the need for greater efficiency, AI-driven planning and stronger supplier performance to regain lost sales.

JOB TO: VICE PRESIDENT OF FOOD AND GM SUPPLY, ASDA

Asda has welcomed back Gavin Chappell as Vice President of Food and GM Supply. Previously with Asda for six years, he rejoins from Bensons for Beds.

Gavin will focus on strengthening supply chains as Asda enhances value and customer service with initiatives like Rollback.
