ATLAS: YOUR NEW WAREHOUSE COLLEAGUE

Boston Dynamics’ all-electric Atlas robot is designed to operate within existing warehouse layouts without requiring significant modifications.

Deemed production-ready in early 2026, its electric actuators provide finer control than the previous hydraulic system, which is relevant for handling small components in electronics assembly or pharmaceutical operations. The robot manages a continuous lift capacity of 30kg and a maximum payload of 50kg, covering most standard warehouse items. Hot-swappable batteries enable continuous operation; the robot docks independently, exchanges power packs in under three minutes and returns to work.
