A SUPPLY CHAIN IN FULL BLOOM

As Valentine’ s Day approaches, demand for cut flowers is soaring, with millions of bouquets exchanged globally. The global cut flower trade is valued at more than £ 88m( US $ 116.5m) annually, supporting livelihoods across countries including Kenya, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Ecuador and Uganda. Kenya’ s flower industry alone provides income for up to two million people.
