AWS Supply Chain continues to expand its capabilities to provide endto-end visibility and insights across the entire supply chain . In December 2023 , AWS announced four new upstream features , enabling manufacturers to leverage the solution for supply planning , collaboration , sustainability tracking , and generative AI support .
Its Amazon Q offering provides supply chain professionals with a generative AI assistant to provide a summarised view of key risks around inventory levels and demand variability , and visualises the tradeoffs between different possible scenarios .
