E-commerce boom drives unprecedented growth While pharmaceutical logistics remains important, the real growth driver for Swissport over the past 18 months has been the explosive rise of e-commerce. To illustrate the point, Duncan points to a 17 % increase in tonnage in 2024.
This growth has primarily been fuelled by specific players in the e-commerce sector, including Chinese giants Shein and Temu.
