OPERATIONS
POSITIVE RESULTS FOR ARAMEX
As a result of its hybrid approach , Aramex has achieved several positive outcomes , as Umar explains :
Improved efficiency “ Our lean / agile hybrid approach has led to improved efficiency , enhanced responsiveness and better quality control . By blending lean and agile methodologies , we have cultivated a dynamic and resilient operational framework , which has been vital given the geopolitical turbulence experienced in recent years . This synergy has also enabled Aramex to utilise its resources more effectively and efficiently , thereby boosting overall productivity across our entire operation , while also saving on cost .”
Increased flexibility “ We are able to quickly adapt to market changes and disruptions , ensuring minimal impact on our customers . This has been especially poignant recently due to the ongoing turbulence experienced in the Red Sea , during which we provided a comprehensive range of
viable solutions to mitigate client delays as much as possible . In doing so , the company ’ s own operated trucks were deployed from Asia via Dubai , Dammam in Saudi Arabia and Europe via Port Said , Egypt , helping clients avoid some of the surcharges and inflated costs associated with the crisis .”
Enhanced customer satisfaction “ Our ability to meet diverse and evolving customer demands has resulted in us achieving higher satisfaction rates and building stronger customer loyalty . By leveraging our lean / agile hybrid approach , we can provide reliable , high-quality services tailored to the specific needs of our clients – listening to their needs , rather than assuming an approach that dictates how services should be delivered . The combination of lean efficiency and agile responsiveness has been fundamental in enabling us to deliver a reliable service to clients , regardless of the complexity of their requirements or the challenges faced on a geopolitical / market front .”
