Vincent is the Chief Executive Officer of A. P. Moller-Maersk, appointed in January 2023 to lead the world’ s second-largest container shipping company through a period of unprecedented supply chain disruption. A Swiss national, Vincent joined Maersk in 1998 after completing his studies and built his career through commercial and trade leadership roles across North America and Copenhagen.

Before becoming CEO, he served as CEO of Ocean & Logistics from 2019, leading the group’ s enterprise-wide transformation into an integrator of container logistics, and earlier as Chief Commercial Officer from 2015, where he drove the development of seamless digital services for customers. Vincent holds a degree in political science from Lausanne and MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School. Under his leadership, Maersk continues to invest heavily in decarbonisation, including green methanol-fuelled vessels, while helping global customers rethink supply chain resilience.
