WALMART , THE WORLD ’ S largest company by revenue according to the Fortune Global 500 list in 2014 , recently announced the debut of its Sustainability Leaders shop , an online shopping portal on Walmart . com that helps customers identify and purchase products from suppliers that are leading in sustainability .
It is currently the biggest private employer in the world with over two million employees , the largest grocery retailer in the US and is leading the fightback in the vicious UK supermarket price war under its subsidiary Asda .
