Roberto Canevari has been appointed Executive Vice President , Global Supply Chain at Estée Lauder . He will begin his new role beginning 1 May , taking over from Gregory F . Polcer , who is retiring after 13 years with the company . Estée Lauder president and CEO Fabrizio Freda describes Canevari as “ a highly respected and talented supply chain expert and global leader ”. Canevari joins from Unilever .

The Chief Supply Chain Officer of iconic retailer Macy ’ s will take up a new split role alongside Chief Stores Officer Marc Mastronardi . The pair will share the duties of outgoing Chief Operating Officer John Harper , who will not be replaced on his departure this August . “ I am confident that these changes in reporting structure will enable us to be nimbler and more efficient as we move forward ,” said Macy ’ s CEO Jeff Gennette .
