But that legacy is evolving , with a strong focus on decarbonisation which is being powered by data , education and empowerment and investment . In 2023 , we partnered with carbon accounting platform Normative to map our global carbon footprint and we ’ re now in the process of developing a net-zero strategy based on that data .
This will build on the action our regions are already taking . In the UK , we ’ ve reduced carbon emissions by 57 % since 2019 and operations there are rated gold by EcoVadis , putting Crown UKI in the top 5 % of reporting companies .
Building on that is vital . We now have the data at our disposal , we ’ ve fostered awareness of the climate crisis among our people , ensuring they ’ re empowered to make the right decisions , and we ’ re investing in the right clean energy solutions across our operations to drive meaningful impact to reduce our carbon footprint .
Q . WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE NEXT 12-18 MONTHS ?

» We have important goals around sustainability : setting a net-zero target to unify our global teams behind a common objective and the development of a sustainable procurement policy . That is pertinent in the context of this interview .

We collaborate with hundreds of supply chain partners around the world and it ’ s vital that collective ambitions to reduce carbon emissions and deliver greater social impact form a central part of that collaboration , just as quality of service and value does currently . That collaboration is central to success in sustainability .
Enhancing our property portfolio is another key goal . Investing in our owned properties to make them more efficient , while building and acquiring new sites to facilitate growth and broaden our role in the supply chain , form the crux of this work . Tied to that is continued diversification . We have made several acquisitions in the last year , particularly in our
